What we build

Most of our work falls into three shapes: an internal system that replaces a spreadsheet-and-WhatsApp process, a customer-facing product that has to survive real traffic, or a rescue of something that was built fast and is now failing under load.

Across all three the constraints are the same. Users are on mid-range Android phones and metered data. Payments run through M-Pesa before they run through cards. Connectivity drops, so the software has to behave when it does. We design for that from the first sprint instead of retrofitting it after launch.

How an engagement runs

We start with a paid discovery: a week or two of mapping the actual process, the integrations, and the failure cases, ending in a scope you can price and, if you want, take elsewhere. It is deliberately cheap to leave at that point.

Delivery runs in two-week increments against a working deployment. You see the system in a staging environment from week one, not a slide deck at the end. Infrastructure costs are quoted per environment, so you know what production costs to run before you commit to it.

What happens after launch

Software that nobody owns rots. Every project ends with either a support agreement carrying defined response times, or a documented handover to your own team — including the runbooks, the deployment pipeline, and access to everything. We do not hold infrastructure hostage.
